i was wondering if anyone had a site or instructions in replacing a timing belt in a b16a1 thanks

also if you search there is one of a del sol. its an sohc but the process is basically the same, you just work with two cams etc. its a really great write up with a lot of pictures to kinda get you started. just search timing belt in the eg civic/del sol forums.

Personally, I like the tech articles on Hybrid Honda Garage the best. C-speedracing's info is good but they make it seem easier than the tasks really are. Still great info though.

yeah,

Make sure the marks on the cam gears are lined up and the mark on the crank pully is lined up. The instructions should tell you about the marks. This is best done on a lift. You can get to bolts better under the car sometimes.

if there is a intermidate shaft that came with my b16a1 can i still use the 90-93 axles

I like to also put a little extra pressure upward on the tensioner when I'm tightening it, the tensioner springs are usually old and don't do their jobs. Make sure what ever article you use that you follow the instructions on how to tension it when you are done. Check and double check when you are done that when you turn the crank counter clockwise by hand that everything still lines up.
