s2000 owners manual
just finished putting leather conditioner on my seats, very nice improvement. i used meguiers, what do you use?
anyways, back on topic. i decided to skim through my owners manual, i have never read it. maybe i should.
well, i came across something i have not seen before. our cars have a 400 lb. load limit. so this puts me in sort of a delima, i am 6'1 and weigh 210 lbs, and my friend that i hang out with all the time weighs 240.
the owners manual states that if the load limit in exceded, it could cause adverse handling and stability or a crash in which we could be seriously hurt or even killed.
so my question is this , how many other fat asses are exceding the weight limit of their s2k?

lol, 400lb load limit? sheesh, now that was something I didn't know. Double check that number with the sticker on the door well on the driver side.

I wouldn't drive your friend around, you don't want to put too much stress on your car/motor.</TD></TR></TABLE>
The stress would not be on the engine, it would be on the suspension, my assumption would be the rear shocks primarily. There's more than a 400lb load limit on the old ek civics and they came with a 1.6 SOHC from the factory.
