Default Bringing back the BLING to your stainless header?

Can it be done and how do you do it?

My JDM DC 4-1 header looks like hell after only 8 month of use.

We-Todd-Did is really slow tonight. Bare with me.

Can I make this thing look new again, or is it a lost cause? I've heard that DC doesn't use the highest quality steel. That's why they turn out like this. Anyone know?

I would say a steel wool pad or some simple green would/should do it right

Well anything is possible with a little money, stainless steel really needs a high rpm buffer to return itself to original shine......What looks like rust is actually corrosion, and can be poslished off.....I bought the header for 160 bucks thinkin is was a OEM JDM ITR, and found this instead, cost me about 200 bucks to get it polished but I was very happy with the results....Brand Spankin New.......

I can get some of the gold coloring off, but I'm more concerned about the corrosion.

I heard about the Blue Away stuff before. Anyone know where I can get some?

well think of it this way, I wanted a JDM ITR to replace the one that my friend had given me, so went to purchase this, which turned out to be this A Moogen, the header was 160 so I figured 200 more bucks wouldn't be bad.

yeah I wouldnt of paid 2 bills man its all about diy, they most likely dipped that header in acid cleaner before they even touched it with a buffer... im so glad I got all of those tools at my house. That jdm header looks nice.

hehe, K, you go do it yourself, I have done more than my share of buffing and sanding and polishing......so I figured I make enough money now and got the header at such a great price, that I had it sent out and I was happy with the results.....

Oh yeah bling bling finally 1000th post.......
