Whats up, im doing a DOHC ZC in one of my rides, and was just wondering if anyone knew the Specs for a DOHC and SOHC ZC motors and if theyre better to have then a USDM LS motor w/ no Vtec???? Thanks in Advance

correct me if im wrong, isnt the sohc zc gears a hair shorter than the dohc?

 

No, the dohc ZC is the shortest geared D tranny.
The L3 tranny is the only D series tranny that had optional LSD straight from the factory.

 

Also does anyone know if they sell aftermarket parts for my DOHC ZC..like cams??? Im looking for headers also

Any d series header will work... you just gotta port match it to the head cause the ZC exhaust ports are just abit off...

oh I think maybe just maybe, HKS made some camshfts back in the day but they sell for like $950

port matching is when you take the ZC exhaust gasket and put it up to any D engine exhaust manifold... you will see the extra materal where the gasket lines up with the manifold..... this is the materal that you will have to grind away.. and make smooth.... air porting tool works best.... machine shope in my area will not do it..... dont know why.... very cheap though...... in other area'a like $15.00 if yo have a dremmel then it will take all day..... dude wear a dust mask.... i got one hell of a upper resp. infection from the dust commin off that manifold...

I'm getting performance cams from web-cam. webcamshafts.com talk to debbie there. Tell her you just talked to the coolest guy from south bend indiana, and he recommended web-cam.
they have a streetable cam set up and a big motha drag race set up...
go for it.
