any problems with 11.1 comp for a mini-me A6
I need to rebuild my block yesterday, looking at a set of SRP pistons that give 11.1. Anyone see any problems with this for a D16A6 - Z6 Mini-me?
thanks
thanks
do the pistons give 11.1 compression on a stock a6 or a stock z6? if its for an a6 it wont be accurate. if you got them for the z6 they should be correct. havent had any experience with compression that high though. thats about the same as p29 pistons right?
Make sure that you give it a healthy diet of fuel and atleast 94 octane. If its hot where your at, retartard the timming untill you get it tuned.

I was thinking of running new pistons since I am rebuilding, so I don't really need to?
I thought a6-z6 mini me compression was 10 something?
Is it good enough to reuse the original pistons at 170K miles?
It would save me some money..
thanks

If you reuse the pistons make sure you get some new rings...
