Minor Problems with the new motor....
So far the motor is running pretty good, just a few minor thing that need to be fixed....motor has about 200 miles on it....
1. Tranny drain bolt (plug) is leaking
I'll replace it with a new one and washer

2. Oil pan is leaking (from the drain bolt)
Small leak, I'll probably just re-tap it to a big size and use a magnetic drain plug, from your local auto parts store (good / bad?)
3. Radiator
The top hose seems to work, pertaining to it gets warm while the car warms up, now with the lower hose doesn't see to get hot (doesn't feel like coolant is passing through....). And when I go up my hill and park my car, coolant is slightly coming out if the overfill tank, like its to much pressure so it comes out.... (What could it be? kind of new to detect things in that sort)
And....
Lastly, I don't know why, but during acceleration, my car smokes, but not on idle, (white smoke). So what could it be?...
Thanks for the imput....everyone!

replace the washer on the tranny drain bolt.
and try to see if a new crush washer wil solve the problem on the oil pan.
now with the radiatot. it is good that the lower hose doesn't get hot that means your radiator is doing its job. (hot collant comes from the top, goes threw the rad, cools down, then comes out the bottom hose with cool coolant, that then gets pumed throw the motor and keeps it cooL)

I'll just replace it and see, it looks like that's the problem....
I'll buy a Honda one, and then if that doesn't work, i'll just get one from Lowe's or Home Depot.....
But I wonder why it over flows and goes everywhere, (off the overflow tank)
Thanks for the quick response....greatly appreciated....

you could have over filled it with fluid.
and about the smoke while you drive.
could be numerous things. such as blow by on the pistons, it might just not be that bad, so it only happens under acceleration. try running alil heavier weight oil.
and it could also have to do with your valve's im not exactly sure, what though so it some one else could chim in hear it would be great

I'll try to run a heavier oil....right now its Valvoline 10-30 for the break in process....
Or it could just need a vavle job....who knows....
But thanks again....

for the radiator i would check to make sure there is no blcokage in the lower hose and also check my thermostat. AS far as the smoke goes it should not really be an issue white smoke is not usually bad.
