I want to buy 9000k violet hid bulbs for a kit for an RSX one of the bulbs burned so I need a new pair of the same kind. Where can I purchase them online. If you guys cant help me out then I can settle for 8000k violet.

As for the 9K HIDs, what kit do you currently have? I would suggest getting 4300Ks if you care about the light output on the ground.

yeah what he said. i remember reading somewhere the philips and orasams(sp?) only make hids up to 6000k. 4300k is the best and brightest light output you can get. thats the temp of all oem hids. the highest i would go would be 6000k, which i did. i got the Mcculloch 6000k from a groupbuy on CRSX for 285 shipped. don't get the 9k, i think anything higher than 6000k is like getting APC Ricer bulbs and what not, IMO.

8000k is very bright, cars pull off from in front of you... no higher than 8000k

 

jus got 8000k kit installed tonight! Think the brand is acumen or some crap, really white compared to my osrams i had on my gsr. Got the kit for 290 shipped to hawaii!
