As the season starts up for many of us I just wanted to remind you guys about supporting our buddy Phil Phillips when its time to purchase your tires.
Phil is a great guy, a fellow racer (with NASA and SCCA) and has excellent customer service. He will absolutely go out on a limb to make sure a fellow track addict gets what he needs when he needs it. He can also hand deliver your tires at select east coast NASA and SCCA events if you plan ahead with him, saving you shipping costs.

Hoosier, Toyo, Falken... Call Phil and he can get it.

Keep in mind that Phil isn't a big corporation like Tire Rack or Discount Tire, but he WILL absolutely give you the best deal he can. So even if he's a couple of dollars more, you won't be sorry if you buy from him anyway.
Try as hard as you want, but you won't find anyone that has dealt with Phil that was unhappy with the experience.

Although I've seen his car many a times on track at ECHC events, I finally got to meet Phil during the Feb. NASA VA HPDE/Race weekend. I already know that he's the guy I'm going to purchase oil from for my current and future cars. And when the time comes, he's going to be the go to guy for RA-1s in the future.

 

I am a cheap SOB and did a TON of comparison shopping for Toyos and Phil's was the best answer by enough to make me smile when I gave him the credit card number.

Service was great, too. Really hard to complain about any of the transaction.
