when where bikes have fuel injection??
grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
Besides that, I think the first Suzuki to have fuel injection was the hayabusa in '99... Is that correct guys?
I couldn't say when kawasaki went FI

As far as I know 98 gsxr 750s are FI, my 99 750 is. the Gsxr 6 didnt get FI till 2001. R1's got it in 2002, R6's got it in 2003. Someone told me that the 03 636 is still carburated but I'm not sure about that. I know the 04s are FI. I'm not sure about the bigger kawasakis though.

Old technology made more HP (and cheaper). Why do you think Pro stock drag cars are still running carbs? They have/had a lot of time and money invented in to carbs and did not want to do the same with FI until now.

Gotcha.
It seems for a road bike FI is far superior... much improved throttle response, better fuel economy, and more precise tuning can be achieved.

If I am not mistaken, I do believe the either 80 or 81 Kawasaki Z1000R had fuel injection. A bit clunky, and bad circuit boards were too expensive and too much trouble. Hence they only made it for one year. I can not remember if mine was an 80 or 81, but the tech told me to get rid of it ASAP, because I would have nothing but trouble out of it. So I do believe Kawasaki came out with FI first on the production bikes. Just my .02 worth.
