I got my Koni Yellow's and in the instruction it show's the shock in a vice for some kind of adjustability... Can someone explain the reason for this... I thought you just adjust them from the top with the plastic ****... Is the 3rd perch setting like as if you bought non-adjustable shock??

 

the perches are to raise and lower the ride hight

the pic of the shocks in the vice is b/c for some cars the Koni yellows aren't externally adjustable (by the white **** thing)

There are 5 perch setting... If I would have bought kyb agx shocks you can't move the perch... I'm wondering which perch setting would be consider a stock perch setting...

Anyone have the perch on the lowest settings??? Will it make the ride harsh??? I'll have ITR springs installed... I was thinking second from the bottom perch for the front and bottom perch for the rear..
