hey guys, i love sunroofs but my DX doest have one. I wanted to know if it would be possible to replace the upper roof section to put a sunroof in. I dont know how easy it is to take the roof off so would i be better off searching for and buying an Si? thanks all, Matt

 

i would say you would be better off buying another crx that has a sunroof. installing a sunroof would be such a pain in the ***, but im sure there are some professionals in your area that do installations like that. check your yellow pages, but be ready to dish out lots of cold hard cash.

 

If you can find a SI to cut the roof off and a buddy who knows how to do major body welding you can do it fairly easy.
If you want a stock look use the entire Si roof cause the DX/HF has a rounder roof then the SI.

 

sounds like more of a pain in the *** than i thought, im thinking i might just look for an Si, or put a SB checy into a volvo

 

You should just pick up a crx si with a sunroof. It's gonna take too much time and money to put a sunroof in your car. If you do convert it good luck finding a sunroof without rust, im sure 90 percent of crx's sunroofs are rusted by now
