What about UK spec ITR headlights??
I remember seeing a picture of a UK spec ITR with the same headlight set-up that the US ITR's have (dual rounds). Has anyone tried to get a set of the UK spec headlights and install them in your US spec ITR? I know everyone likes the JDM conversion, but I am going to wait on that for now, but I want a larger selection of bulbs to choose from. The UK lights should be H-series bulbs.
Any info would help.
Thanks!

I know these are Honda's and NOT VW's, but here in the US the DOT (department of Transportation) mandates that headlights suck so you don't blind on coming drivers. You can get Euro spec headlights for VW's that have H series bulds in them and they bolt right up. I was just wondering if this was an option for Honda's too.
The headlights in the US spec cars use 9000 series bulbs, do the Euro spec lights use H series bulbs or 9000 series bulbs?

it is adjustable yes but the parking lights are different, they are on the outside and the turning signal on the inside of the bar under the headlights.

We have a blank plate. I can't access my pictures right now. I will post a picture of the plate this evening.
I have installed a sunroof button in the location and wired it up to the power door lock switch. The "lock-blocker" install resulted in a need for a switch... so why not use a factory one... ?
The dimmer function for the gauge cluster is in the right side circle hole. Not the nice fog light switch like the Euro ITR's have..
The plastic trim that goes in the left circular hole still baffles me.

yes, the euroDM ITR light are adjustable from inside the car (4 positions). dont you guys have that also?
This tilt feature would be great for those who have done the HID conversion.....
damn..... can anybody in the UK get a price on this piece? Motor assembly alone?

t,
Willard put two nice pics of the mechanism. inside the car just on the left drivers side you have a 4 position switch to regulate how high are your beams. on the headlight you have a lift incorporated motor that alows the regulation.
Tell me more on adjusting your lights?? We dont have that feature in the US.
I believe the UK bulbs use crystal bulbs..or atleast I was told that once from a UK dealership. If he was correct then it would be the higher out put bulbs made by Hamp. There 20% brighter then the stock setup. But the adj leveler is nice but the DOT wouldn't allow us to have anything like that or we be blinding people on purpose..and they know that. Maybe overseas people don't do stupid crap like try to blind people with there lights..people here get on your tail and turn on the bright lights...so it shines into your rear viewmirror so you can't see a damn thing..I seriously hate driving around here at night.
For more info on the Euro-spec ITR, here's the link to the whole article on the UK ITR that Glen Sheppard wrote for the Integra Dynocenter:

Glen purchased an Audi S3 (yes.. S-Three) out there in Scotland.. so hopefully he'll be back to visit us here again..
We miss ya Glen!
