Well I picked up a fiberglass aftermarket hood and after seeing Optimus Primes hood I was really interested in how much more aggressive it made it look and I just really liked it.

I know they make some sort of hood like that in the states so I am just looking for pics so I can determine what kind of angle I like in the lights.

Should be a fairly fun and easy way to improve my car before I paint it again before summer. BTW- Dont say rice, I like it

I like the one built into the hood. Not so much of radical angle and looks great to me.

I really dont like the one that are stucck to the headlights

 

The one as you say that is built into the head light.... Is not. Thats how they come. I dont remember the car code buts its like ee8 or ee3. I used to have a pic of a white one.

 

I never said anything about it being built into the headlight....

I tried looking everywhere because I know its call "booser" hood mod or something

 

just make your own, im redoing mine soon ill do a little writeup for you.

 

Would honestly be sick. What do you have to redo?

I just dont this hunk of fiberglass falling off when I close to hood hard or someone else closes it

 

nah it wont fall off, mine hasnt yet and people always drop my hood.

im redoing it cuz i had them at a sharper angle and decided to trim them up but i messed up cutting them w/ my grinder so im just gonna do it over.

what? are you sure... i know a couple uk guys.... and they said that people make those. maybe they just dont know or something, but ive never heard of that before.

 

Weld on sheetmetal...grind it down...finish it off...primer it...paint it...done.

There's a thread on the crx resource where I pasted over a dozen pics. Those are dutch CRX btw...not UK.

And the other is a place that sells hoods, I dont mind trying this on my own, I hav a spare metal hood, I just dont know exactly how or what angle to delete/modify/incorporate
