Default better understanding after researching limp mode, but still need help???

lsvtec not running knocksensor, but waiting on chipped ecu to get back.

I was reading that limp mode will not let you go above 2500rpm, is this true?

2nd, I have made it to 4600 rpm. any ideas?

3rd, while running with the code 23 knocksensor, will it make car run slugish or put it into a state like limp mode?

when getting rpm up around 4600 slightly leans out, yet this is a very unacurate A/F gauge just as a slight precausion, no harm in that right ?

thanks alot
Justin

There are different limp modes. Sometimes it wont rev over 3000 rpm other times it just goes super rich. Lean is bad usually with a knock sensor fault it should go rich, most likely the gauge is wrong.
