I just installed gsr cams in my b16 with str cam gears. when i went out for a ride eveything was fine untill 6k and then my cam gear sliped all the way. power compleatly droped off, i went and parked rite away. it was still ideling untill i parked, then i turned my car off and got a ride home to get tools. i put everything back and its runs fine but do you think i could have damaged anything? thanks for the input.

well the shop said that all of my valves were fine.... do you think that when the cams retarded all the way it could have blowen the head gasket? i didt really drive thet far after it happened so im not sure on any power loss. or could it have been the cams producing the lower number in cylinder 1, i just installed them and the were used.
