ok so finaly me and a guy just put a f22a 92 accord dx in my 90 accord ex. i will be puting the final touches on monday. i am keeping my fingers crossed till i start the engine. hopefully it starts and the engine doesn't burn oil. so i got the other engine out. what should i do with it? that engine broke my exaust vavle twice with two different head engines.
what i need from u guys.
1. i need to find out why the engine brakes my exaust vavles(timing was ok)
2. i need to open the engine and rebuild it from my house doing all the works my self. now i will be doing this for the first time so whatever u guys GOT TO SAY to me just say it and i will follow it.( no experience)
3.whatever i need to know about the f22a engines(90-93 accords) like the weak parts or whatever just tell me about it. any hints or whatever i need to know while i am doing it. even the most stupid **** that anyone should know just say it(it will remmind me)
4.any special tools that i would need. no engine stand but i might invent something for it lol. (new house so a lot of wood laying around)
5. and pic pic pic because i am not good with names(tend to forget a lot) i need pic pic pic.
6. yes i have a manual and i am reading it but still HELP IS NEEDED.
SO SHOT whatever u got just say it. and please keep this thread runing just post post post whatever it comes to your minds. i will check it everyday.

Ship it to me free of charge . And since you were doing a swap why didnt you either build the newer motor or get a h22?

 

No money. I got the f22a accord dx 92 for $250. Im thinking of rebuilding the original engine so thats y i post this thread. Got any idea on what should i do first? PLZ post them. Pics will help alot
