If i where to go to japan....
How much would i be able to pic up the nessesary stuff for the JDM Conversion? Just wondering how much of a increase is put on the **** when it gets here.
You know what wouldve been REALLY cool? If Honda imported the JDM Front end just for the Integra TYPE-R models...that wouldve really made the R one special Teg.

Do they sell USDM conversions in the states? never heard of one...So why would the sell JDM conversions in Japan?
Anyways not to sound like a smart *** or anything but...getting the front end for the Intgra is going to cost you a lot more than buying one in the States...shipping alone will be about $500..
Used front end parts are pratically non-existant....

Actually you can get JDM conversions in Japan... I would know considering the fact that my uncle lives there. Go to a dealership, and talk to the parts department.. You can get one most definitely.

Add it up dude..
$600 to $800 for a round trip ticket to Tokyo
$300 to $500 price to stay one night in Tokyo (and I am being conservative)
$4000 Price for part from the dealer (if you're lucky)
$500 to ship to States by FedEx
Close to $6k and I am estimating conservatively...if you don't believe me, ask Reboosted about prices in Japan...
when i said jdm conversion i didnt mean it would be a jdm conversion over their and i think you new that. Anyway i was asking what the price would be for the parts need'd not the cost to fly over their and stay the night and **** and fedex the ****. Some of you guys on here just like to run your mouths
Actually he did say how much it would cost.
($4000 Price for part from the dealer (if you're lucky)
That price would be right unless some of the parts where used or if you got good deal from someone. Plus then add in 500 for shipping and then around another 100 bucks or so bucks with customs duties..which is normally 4-5% on parts like this. Also not to mention if you use a brokerage to get the parts into the country throught customs ASAP..if not you may get asked to sign around 4-5 sheets of papers and fill them out then send it back..and wait..if they don't like it they will send you more forms. Trust me I've been through this plenty of times..sometimes you can wait a week or more just with the parts in customs because of all the paper work. As for running his mouth I don't think so since he lives there, plus he was just giving you the run down in case you did fly over.
The only way to beat hotel rates in Japan is to either be a member to there hotels which normally not cheap or be members of org. that allow for discounts.
