Default Exhaust for 1/4 mile

What would be a better exhaust for the 1320, a system designed for low to midrange power, or one designed for upper-midrange and top end? Comments, suggestions? Thanks.

I would say the exhaust for top end power like the N1 will be best for 1/4mile, since you will be in the top end all the time except at the beginning.

On street tires I launch just under VTEC....everybody's style is different....

My friend launched his R at like 7000rpm..... and I'm sure some other crazies on this board are launching even higher....

regardless your style.... get somthing which is all about high rpm business!

None if you can control the tire spin.

Too much wheel spin = almost standing still.

its hard to find a good rpm to launch on cause of most hondas have a flat torque curve

I launched below 3500 and quickly slipped the clutch. I managed a 2.2 60' time that way with a little wheel spin. Any higher and I just spun crazy.

Just remember you can't lainch in VTEC unless you have a VTEC controller ...... and you better be running slicks to do that!

I launched at 5,500 with street tires, and 8,000 with slicks .....
