stupid parts place cant locate the gaskets for me need help

Default stupid parts place cant locate the gaskets for me need help

i need to know what yr model usdm h22 exhuast, intake gaskets i need to buy that will fit my h22a. When i went to checkers a local part shop they looked it up on the computer and it showed that the 2.2 93-96vtec called for the same gaskets as a 2.3 si ,i knew right their they had to be stupid as **** or something was jacked. So if anyone can point me to part numbers or a place to buy these or wich yr i need to buy the gaskets from or even has some for sale let me know.

preety sure US and JDM IM and EM gaskets are the same as long as they are for a h22

if youyr worried about getting the gaskets at honda because they are too expensive, don't worry about it....i got an IM gasket from honda and it was 15 bucks, not sure about the Exhaust though

The clerk at checkers was correct about what gaskets you needed. The H22a block will use the same gaskets on the intake manifold and exhaust maifold as the Si's H23a. The two blocks are essentially the same casting, and the intake manifolds are identical.

I call bullshit. There is a coolant/egr port on the H23 that is not there for the H22.
If you don't belive me I can get pics by tomarrow.

IM and EM come of of the HEAD not the block. Therefore the heads are completely different castings.

All H22 intake manifold's flanges are the same be it 92-96 or 97-01
or Euro type manifold. Get a h22 intake and exhaust manifold
gasket and you will be fine.
