which is nice and informative but where would be be able to get those pieces
of aluminum to mount the seat?? i dont have the means or money to
have something fabricated... thanxx for the help on my N00b question

Those look like off-the-shelf flat stock aluminum. You can find this at most hardware stores including Home Depot, Lowes, or even ACE Hardware. It can be cut very easily with a Dremel tool. Keep in mind that the mount pictured in that link will only work for bottom-mount seats. A similar method could be used to mount the side mount bases, but it won't sit quite as low.

i have a bottom mount.. sparco sprint seat.. has the 4 holes in the bottom. oh and thanxx travis. your always one to help
