will taking off and 88 crx si head and puttin a 98 sohc non v-tec head do any difference???

Oops my bad.

I hear the Y7 head flows a bit better. Probably not a huge diff.

I dont think it would be worth the effort or even the cost of the new head gasket and resurfacing.

it will also increase your compression ratio to about 9.95:1 if you use the Y8 HG...also depends on if you mill the head.

i put a d16y7 head on my d15 block.. supposedly had 10.1:1 compression. I always ran 92 octane fuel and ran several different tunes with turboedit. I used an Si tranny..

bottom line, it ran like **** and was a dog turd. It was barely faster than my friends 89 DX CRX dual point with his only mod an Si tranny.
