i thought so too, but it comes on the thermal...the construction of the tip was really nice though. it looks like it was a tough design because the pipe and the tip are one piece.

i just don't like big tips.

please think before you post. it's obvious you didn't just from looking at the grammar and mechanics of this horrible sentence.

wow. that was just really ahhh dumb.

thanks for all the great responses.

if any of you want to try this little mod its not that hard, but if your not too good with a cutting wheel...i wouldn't try it.

i actually had to cut the exhaust tip twice since the pipe actually over laps itself. if you have a thermal you know what im talking about. it was pretty dam rough and took my about an hour and 3 cutting cookies to finish it up. i then took a brushed wheel and went over the pipe to clean it up and then finished with a coat of high temp black paint.

i don't regret cutting it at all, and now people can't tell if i have some custom exhaust special or a real performance exhaust. nice nice.

thanks again.

i actually bought the car with it so im not sure how much these exhaust systems go for. im sure its right around $500.00 at least thats what i have been told.

The system sounds great, but its too loud according to my local police department. I cantacted thermal and they are going to install a stealth beffel :sp?: for free i just have to pay to ship.

yes its a complete cat back system. the web site is

Yer local po-pos suck, because Thermal is one of the quieter exhausts out there--at least on CR-Xs.

yeah they do, but i went to the DMV and had the system checked and i failed the db test.

could be the cat that is allowing the system to get really loud. Thermal is going to put in a stealth baffel for me...or anyone with there system... for free so i guess thats pretty dam cool.
