Default Removing CRX Carpet

Im in the process of striping my car. Ive got almost everything out of the car as of right now but i cant get the damn carpet up. Its stuck on the passanger and drivers sides. Ive got the front and rear up but cant get the sides undone. Any advice? Thanks for the help. Everyone have a great day.

Well, I had some issues too but if you don't plan on using the carpet again, or don't plan on selling it... why not just cut it?

I got it almost all the way off now. I got the sides un stuck. and the final thing hanging me up is the foot rest deal thats next to the pedels. Maybe the SI's and Hf's dont have them but mines a dx. Its in the spot where the clutch pedal would go. Any help is much appreciated thank you Jedubz for your advice

the dead pedal has 2 ten mil nuts that hold it to the floor. pop off the front by prying in the small slot near the bottom of the surface of the pedal. the sides are connected to the door jamb plastics, pop them up and the carpet will come with it. you should never need to pull excessively hard on the carpet anywhere, if you are patient it comes out very easily.

if its a daily driver, ripping out the sound deadener might become annoying to you. especially if you like the radio or whatever. my crx, however, is not my daily driver and i personally like the sound of not having anything between me and the road. which in a stripped crx really does sound like that.
