dose anyone know where to locate the enging code for my crx??? is it with the vin on inside of door? or is it somewhere under the hood????

the engine code is one the block right below where the head and block meet.

 

ok i was just outside and i looked but couldnt find it, shes a lil greasy i look on the under side of the hood and on one of the decals it had "engine family identifation: JHN1.55V5FCF4" could this be it?? i dont know too much im kinda new too all of this sorry if this is a dumb ? thanx jahnericm

 

No, that's not it. The engine code is stamped on the front of the block right next to the transaxle. You might have to clean the engine to see it.
