Well guys im in a dilemna and theres no one better to hear comments from than you guys.

How it started, Last week my Interior status was......

Black interior, Itr rear seats, Itr door panels, Itr boot, E-brake, Grey carpet, Stock grey seats

Since then I bought Jdm Itr Recaros(black), Itr custom alcantara armrest lid,

Anyways i got carried away on other stuff an my girlfriend reminded me that my carpet is still grey so I searched and found a supergood deal on some black carpet. Here's where the dilemna starts, I am buying all this interior stuff, finally bought some black carpet and my grey mats are going to look shitty and not match. So the same guy im buying the carpet from is also selling 2001 Brand new Itr floormats for a ******* steal. I went ahead and bought them just because it was a deal.

I also bought them because they are all black and the material will match my interior, but the last thing I want to do is for it to look like im trying to front

So yesterday when i replaced carpet, i went ahead and threw in the mats. Everyone is spotless inside now, but I was considering having the Red "R" blackened somehow, but at the same time I would hate to take away the Value of the mats because they are so nice,

Please help right now my choices are

1) Keep them as is
2) Have the Red "R" colored in black
3) Lose the mats and find something custom

Keep it like it is now.

Too late to worry about "fronting" after already installing a nice ITR interior.

I personally don't like the use of any products that specifically name an ITR (such as floormats) on anything but an ITR. If it were me, I'd find something else, but whatever floats your boat.

 

me too, but i'd still bump those, good resale value if their intact, don't screw em up with a magic marker

First off, I know exactly how you feel... My interior is still tan minus ITR front and rear seats, and i'm still thinking about and planning to change things here and there. To name a few things, the armrest, door panel insert, carpet, floormats...

On the topic of floormats, Bbasso was looking into doing a custom floormat groupbuy, which i don't believe got anywhere on the "groupbuy" aspect, but they are still available:

you can have your name or logo or whatever etched into them

So, sell your 2001 mats (which should be easy - they are the most demanded itr mats) and get the custom ones in black.. Then PM me and tell me where you got the black alcantra for your armrest

 

Alexander pm sent, and yeah i pmed Bbasso when he made the original thread on the custom mats, but I don't think anything ever happened with that.

I didn't follow up but I would want to see pics of the finished product before going with custom mats, hard to beat oem quality.

Tell you guys what, ive had several pm's with peole wanting to buy them as I know they are the most souight after Itr mats. If i decide to sell them, i'll be sure and let the Itr forum know first
