Default Bridgestone Potenza RE750??

Has anyone tried the Bridgestone Potenza RE750? I did a search and didn't find anything significant.

They're OK. Nothing special... better tires for the money out there, IMO - Azenis, Ecsta MX.

Uh, they're a totally different kind of tire... a sporty, but longer-lasting tire than the Axenis or MX. There are stickier or higher-performance tires out there for the same dollars, but I think RJ's comparison was one of apples and oranges.

Besides, this is RR/A... not the place to ask about such tires.

lol, seeing how this is the roadracing/autocrossing forum, you'd expect those kinds of replies

I think these tires are supposed to be close to the AVS ES100s...

Seeing that the UTGQ is 340, I think it's not supposed to be close to the ES100, even though the ratings are different for each company. The RE730 (discontinued and replaced by RE750) was rated at 300, and was more comparable to the Toyo Proxes FZ4, Nitto NT450, Falken Ziex 502, etc. It was IMO better than all those tires too.

The RE750 is more suited to the daily driver. It has a good blend of grip, wet weather traction, and tread life. That just means that if you go to the track, you can't expect too much from it.
