Default rebuild h22 tranny

i was thinking of having my h22 tranny rebuilt instead of trying to find one. what would you suggest that I use as gears, parts, or should i use a different trans.

what's wrong with the tranny now?

If you start replacing gears, you might as well kiss your bank account goodbye for the next 7 years.

Just the synchro's grinding, and there's a small ring that keeps it in gear that's probably worn out.

A rebuild will be more expensive than a used tranny but it'll probably have a better warranty. Don't change gears, just do synchro's, seals, and small things. It'll still run you over a grand easy, more than likely.

I'd do a used tranny just cause you can probably buy two for the price of rebuilding one. lol
