Does this make sense... ITR vs. RSX-S ???
ok, before i get flamed....i am against street racing but sometimes i just give into the temptation....
well, it was an early morning commute when i noticed a silver RSX type S on my *** on an onramp to the highway. so, i decide to give it a shot and see what happens.
at about 60 (third gear) i gun it as we enter into the highway, and the guy sticks right on my ***. finally we slow down and he zooms by. we later both slow down and he said that he had an intake and a chipped ECU. again later, we hit it at the same time at about sixty and we-re DEAD EVEN...i started pulling away VERY slowly after 100.
does this make sense? i thought i should've been faster.
(my mods: Comptech intake and ACT HDSS clutch & ACT ProLite flywheel)

When it's intake'ed and chipped. They are very responsive to minor bolt-ons

Stock vs stock MANY times, i have seen RSX vs ITR and ill stick my claim of they should be side by side. Modded with I H E, the RSX should pull everytime.

i was under the impression the rsx-s was slightly faster in a straight line than a R, maybe not?

yea ive raced my friends RSX-S. i have i/h/e and he just has i/e and it is so close its not even funny.... the whole race depends totally on the launch.... it is DEAD EVEN.... its fun racing him cus the best races to me are the ones that are just too close to call

i've had my R for about 1 year, and i can only count on my right hand how many times people really tried me. i think it's b/c alot of the other import people respect the R and just like to stay behind and admire it. also, i think it's b/c many of them have the preconcieved notion that a Type R has like "300 horses and runs 11 second quarter miles"...that's what a ricer told me once when he saw my car at a gas station. i also think it's b/c i have dark tint and alot of the time just drive smooth and chill, so people don't think i would even race them.
