metallic clicking from rear
im getting a metallic clicking sound in the rear of my car when i hit rough roads. the other day i tightened up my top strut bolt and it fixed it. well, it started again. could it even be a bolt thats loose or something else? or should i just loctite the bolt thats loose? would it cause damage to anything driving with one bolt loose on the strut tower like that? cause i had to drive it home on the freeway for a while.
Get yourself the Helm and find the torque specs for all of the bolts and retighten them all. I doubt you did any damage if only one was loose. Then again, you need to check all of the hardware for both the top hat and shock. You might want to go over the suspension bolts if you had it apart-like replacing a control arm.
