Default Intermittant CEL D16Z6

Car:
1994 Ex Cp D16z6 5spd

Notes:
CEL comes on SOMETIMES when driven hard & on freeway with A/C on.
Goes away when engine turned off.
ECU isn't throwing codes.

I've had this problem for quite sometime where the CEL comes on intermittantly. This problem occurs very rarely at times when its driven hard & cruising on the freeway with the air conditioning on.

Most days when it's driven hard, there won't be a sign of the CEL coming on at all. The CEL comes on probably 3 out of 10 times when I'm cruising on the freeway. I've checked for codes but without a luck finding one.

If anyone has any information or suggestions, please let me know. Thank you in advance.

I guess it takes longer for a tech-related thread to get answered than those "hey look at my ride" threads.

bump for 2nd day.

I've always thought you could only check CEL with the engine in the on position but not turned over.

Yes I have a header. I replaced the o2 a few months back, I'd say approximately 5 months prior.

Any more suggestions?
