Will SI harness work in a HF
I was wondering will it be easier to get a SI, instead of rewiring the stock HF harness and if so is there a big wiring difference in the HF body with the SI harness?????
i got a modified harness that will work for you email me @ frederz@aol.com if interested!!!!!!
The Si harness won't plug in to the large round connector by the passenger shock tower. Plugs slightly different. If you are doing a swap, use the HF harness. Unless you are doin a H22 or something, the mods are simple. Tell us what you are doing and we might be able to help more.

the Si engine harness will plug right into the HF chassis harness, but it won't work - all of the wires are in different locations in the connectors - if you are doing a swap, the wiring changes would be the same for either the HF or the Si
While we are on the subject.
I heard some people talking about modifying a 90-91 si wiring harness to fit a 90-91 dx. Because every thing is there buy that plug on the drivers side shock tower is different. Could u just do something to that plug to make a si harness work on a dx?
It that possible instead of doing a mpfi swap, and messing with the wire mess?

well, you probably could do it if you had enough time - the DX has 14 wires in that connector - the Si harness only has 8 wires - obviously, some of the 14 wires on the DX go somewhere else on the Si (some are not used, like tandem valve) - the DX has the ignitor wire in that connector - also the radiator fan relay - why bother - converting DX is actually simple
