I don't have a lot of money and need an exhaust pretty soon. I was looking on ebay and was told from somebody on here just to get a muphler from there and have it welded onto 2.5" piping cat-back. on ebay they have the monza exhaust for 180.00http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...69161 or the Obx axleback for 170.00 What is the best out of the three? If I don the muphler with piping I'll just get a cheap one from there(really tight on money right now.)
Get a universal muffler and have it placed by a shop. But make sure you use something than the original piping. 2 1/4inch piping is probably the most common. Depends what you get for an exhaust.
I'd say if you are going to spend the money to turbo your car, you should spend some money on decent exhaust to get rid of all the extra air you will be pushing throught the exhaust. I have a B18C5 in my crx with a Thermal Research Exhaust, the exhaust is great quality, and the sound is like no other, i'd say research some of the quality exhausts, you'll probably be happier with a quality Stainliess system.

I'm gonna get either a apex WS or a greddy sp once I get my b16 installed but thats not gonna be for about 6 months or so till it's done.(redoing my whole car in that time) I'm also just working at a local Fast food place and only getting paid like 6.85 Phr and only working 30 hours a week. I start at UPS the 4th though
. that'll start getting thinks together a little faster.

Depends what style muffler you get..for instence mine will have to slanted no matter what, its just too big, but I knew this when I bought it.

should I have the piping slant and go out the left side of the car or take it straight out the right side? does it really make that big of a difference?
I would suggest a cut out, just because thats what I have. I had a local muffler shop put it between the cat and the header. I love it cause its loud when I want it to be, but then I cap it so its quiet when I want it to be. IMHO it sounds better then any full exh. system I have ever herd and it was only $100. I definetly feel a much better mid to top end when I run it open. Plus the chicks love it.

yeah but I still don't have a muphler for when it is not open. If I get waht your saying correctly, like when you want it to be loud it's open header like correct?
