Default ECU advice for JDM H22A

I am doing an h23a1 to JDM H22a engine swap in my 94 prelude si. I am looking for advice on what kind of ECU i should get, where to get it, and if possible, how much it would cost. I also need the wire harness to the ECU, becuase my engine has a cut harness. Thank you for reading this.

Hi you should use the JDM or USDM p13 Ecu. As for the harness use your H23a engine wiring harness and wire in the vtec and pressure switch. i can find you a p13 ecu if you need one. Good Luck!

Hmmm.....i would definetly stay away from the jdm 13 , cuz most people get egr cels and hondata does not a program for the jdm p13. I'm running this ecu right now but in the futrure I'm gonna have top get a different ecu for tunning. Dont know about others tho................bump for this topic

as 93hatched said i'd spend the money to get a p72 for about 200 bucks or a p28 for about 100 rather than a p13. I sold my p13 for a socketed p28... soon as i get the new ecu i'm gonna dyno the car to see what a difference it makes. U'll be better off with a p72 becasue it has control of the secondaries, but as stated u can use hondata on either ecu and tune around the p28's weaknesses. Make sure u get obd1

How would i go about wiring in the Vtec and Pressure switch? And also, why the p72 over the p28?

People get Egr CELs, cause there EGR Valve is stuck shut, has nothing to do with useing a JDM ecu. Its the 1st thing to stick as the motor has been sitting for awhile.
Carbon buildup is a biach.........

id say use the p28 with a chipped GSR program of some sort, Mines a mugen, and mine not only makes great power but stays between 13.1 and 13.6 throught the power run on a wideband dyno.....thats my suggestion, btw my car runs 10x bettr on the chipped p28 than it ever did on my p13s...later

all you have to do using the h23 harness, is wire the vtec solenoid wire(green) to A4 on the ecu, wire the pressure switch ground wire(black/red) to any to a ground and the other pressure switch wire(blue) to pin D6. if you need a pinout diagram i'll post it.

Well , dont think that's what it is , cuz I only get cels when i go up hills without applying the gas , many others have also noticed this............I wish I knew a way to solve this , cuz I hate cels..........
