Im pretty sure this is bullcrap but.......
I dont know this for sure but this guy told me that the C5 block has Titanium rods and misc. titanium parts on it. I dont think this is true. As far as I know all a C5 is, is a C1 w/ a B16 head. Am I right or is this other guys right, or are we both way off?

Rods are constructed of special high-strength steel to withstand higher rpm's and are still lighter than GS-R connecting rods
High-pressure die cast piston crown has been reshaped to increase compression ratio from 10.0:1 up to 10.6:1
The changeover point between low lift and high lift in the Type R is 5700 rpm (compared to 4400 rpm on the GS-R)
