Me and my boy changed the sparkplugs on my car and noticed that one of them had oil on it.
How much more life does my motor have?
What are my options?
Whats the worse that can happen?

Is it on the actual electrode or just on the threads?
If it's just the threads then all you need is a valve cover gasket set. If it's on the electrode itself then most likely oil is getting past your piston rings.

This just happened to me recently, all it is are these rubber rings that fit between the engine cover and the shafts that leads to each spark plug. They're getting old and are getting stress marks. All you have to do is remove the engine cover and take these rubber rings off. Mine weren't in too bad of shape so I simply tooks some high temp silicone and applied some on both sides, and then I bolted everything back on. Worked like a charm. I haven't gotten any more oil on my spark plugs.
