Default how do you lift up your car??? help now please!!

Okay, Im having an impossible time trying to get my car up on jackstands. I have a hydraulic jack but I cant fit it under my car so I need to use the jack that came with the car, but obviously that doesnt go high enough to fit my jack stands under.

the technique i used for one side of the car is that I used the regular jack on the front side lift point and then fit my hydraulic jack under the rear lift point. Lifted the car up dangerously high in the rear with my hydraulic and fit my jackstand under the front side. I cannot fit the hydraulic jack and the jackstand under 1 lift point. I also do not want to repeat this for the other side because it doesnt not seem totally safe.

Please help. my car is in my driveway on 1 jackstand... and i NEED to change my oil...

edit: i do realize the title says "unhow"

added a picture of a jackstand because I know no one reads a thread without a picture... those arent my jackstands btw

Try putting your small jack under the lca and lift it high enough untill you can put the larger jack under the lift point. Then remove the small jack and put the jackstand under your lca.

Try driving your car onto ramps and jacking it up that way.

drive up on a 2x4 (stack them if you need) then you should have enough clearance. Thats what I had to do. Then you don't have to use that crappy/slow scissor jack

You can use the honda jack to raise it up a little in the front and when its high enough use the larger jack.

Or, this is what I do...
Buy an 8ft 2x4 and cut it into 4 peices:
2 that are 2.5'
2 that are 1.5'
Make 2 stepped ramps out of them by screwing the 2 together to make 2 ramps.
Biggitybam...cheap ramps that are low enough for you to get up onto and wide enough not to kill the tires.
That 1' step difference really ought to be enough space for your car to get up onto...if its not then TS youre on your own

i raise my car up a little with the honda jack, then i raise my car up with a bigger jack. thats the easiest way to do it, then use the jack stands.
