What product to use to clean brake callipers?
I have a 93 accord with 4 wheel disc brakes, and I recently decided to clean up the callipers with metal sandpaper and managed to get them pretty clean. Well, I also decided to use some simple green to clean off the dirt between the crevices. All looked nice until it started raining...now there's this really dull coat of white powdery sh*t all over them, like white powdery rust or something. What do you guys used to clean your brake callipers with? Thanks
it's probably just residue from the simple green, just scrub them again with a brush and some hot soapy water, and they'll prolly be alright.

recommend you protect fresh bright metal with an aluminum friendly anti-corrosion paint. i think Rustoleum makes something. choose a glossy - will last longer.
