Want to put vtec on ls

i have a eg with a complete ls swapped and i want to put a vtec head on.. do i have to take the whole thing out to get it done or can i just leave the enfgine in the bay and put it on there.. cuz im too lazy

Search, for LS/VTEC, you'll find more than enough information than you'll ever need to know. And yes, you can do it with the engine in the engine bay, but it isn't recommended.
