All this is in a 1992 civc hatch vx
this one is on tha passenger side of the car right around the battery

The first pic looks like some kind of aftermarket cruise control. Neither one of my VX's had that item. The Second pic is for the EGR system. You don't need it if you swap the motor.

I had the same thing on my crx. Basically it works off the vacuum from your intake manifold and uses a bunch of little solinoids and valves combined with readings it gets from a sensor( i forget which one) and finally goes to your EGR valve with a tube that uses the borrowed vacuum from the intake manifold to get vacuum at a certain point to open and close the EGR valve. make sense?
