Default hayne's lied, chilton's lied

i just redid my own timing belt after installing one following a book that caused my car to run like ****. ***(98 ek with b18b1)*** in the books they tell you that "up" arrows on cam gears are parralle. well they're not! the intake side leans a bit more to the front than the exhaust side. maybe its just my car but i highly doubt it. now my car drives like a million bucks.

I'm not shur about the B18b1 but doesn't it have the little drill holes to line it up. You put two small dril bits in them and your cams should be lined up.

The Haynes firing order is correct in all the Honda civic and integra books. You were looking at the cylinder # diagram or something.
