any problem w/ using a hf distributor w/ si ecu
basically i did a sohc zc swap on my hf rex and it seems to start and run better w/ the hf ecu. i have an si ecu and im not sure why but once the car is warmed up it does fine but when i first try to start it it has trouble. so is there a difference between the hf and si distributor(i know there both 7 pin)? or is my si ecu bad?
well, i'm sorta in the same boat as you. i swapped a 95 1.5L into my crx, and i had to use the obd0 dizzy, alternator, and injectors. i'm also running the SI ecu. I had no problem with the dizzy swap.
about your car having trouble starting, what do you mean? does the starter have to turn a bunch more times to get the motor going?

before i had a starter on the car the si ecu would only start after like 5 min of push starting it and when it did start it would bog down when i hit the gas until it got warm but when i went back to the hf ecu it would bump start right away, and now that i have a starter it starts right up, with the hf ecu, i guess i should switch ecu's again and see what happens
