Papis was not a factor in the race at all in fact wasn't he 24th, it wasn't until servia's accident and they raced under yellow that he was able to stay in front, what a rip off for de ferran and castroneves. De ferran was basically in front the entire time, with Castroneves in third, I don't understand why CART loves yellow flags so much, this must be one of the reasons CART is so "competitive."

and Castorneves didn't even get penalized for putting tracy into the wall, fair is fair, or it should be. Kniefel penalized takagi and tracy at the beginning of the season for blocking maneuvers , what happened between tracy and castroneves was far worse and nothing happens to castroneves???

Dude! Don't give away the results of races in the subject line. There are a lot of people who can't see the races live, so out of respect you NEVER ruin the race for them by giving the result away. Just write something like "CART results (spoiler)". That way everybody knows it has the results, and they can decide whether to read it or not. Thanks.

I understand where you coming from but that's the whole point of road racing, it's all strategy. Laguna Seca is one of the hardest tracks you can imagine and if you don't have the right suspension setup, downforce and tires, you'll end up in the gravel. Don't know if you notice but most of the cars that were running were using soft compound tires and already knew that there were going to be alot of yellow flags and crashes meaning more pit stops frequently without loosing a lap.

Castroneves has been very aggresive lately but very competitive in the same time with his teammate Gil. I agree 100% that Helio should've been penalized while Tracy was exiting the pits accordingly. He should've got a penalty also in England where castroneves accelerated more than the speed limit at the pits and passes andretti and tracy. I guess he forgot they extended the cut off line. LOL

Too bad, HONDA didn't get a 1st place win this time.
