Im getting ready to do an h22 swap in my civic but im missing my half shaft and was wondering if all year preludes have the same half shaft? My engine is from a 2000 but can i still use a half shaft from a 95?

I believe they are the same, yes.

 

I think you need to use one from an Accord, instead of a prelude. The prelude ones are longer than the Accord ones. I just sold a 95 Accord EX halfshaft to a guy who said he was going to use it for a Civic H22 swap.

 

arent the accord shafts have female ends? i had custom axles made for me to use the prelude male end of the shaft

 

My accord halfshaft had a male end.

 

hey i got a 94 prelude vtec hal shaft but it doesent seem to bolt up right, im trying to use it on a 2000 h22. The ends are right but the light and the line up of where youre suppose to bolt it up doesent line up right
