Default VAFC help needed.

i noticed my VTEC isnt kicking in at 4700 like normally set on my VAFC. it has been comming on at 5200 which is the stock setting.

i pulled my VAFC from the dash after checking all the settings and i noticed a kink in the wiring harness.

i was thinking that maybe i pinched the wire and i would have to fix it. but i dont remember which color the VTEC wire is.

then it hit me that the VTEC wire is one of the ones that is cut and run through the VAFC.

so now here is the question.

is it possibly a bad wire ie it got pinched?

or

is my vafc faulty?

TIA
