Default 4speed EF?

Is that equivelant to a CRX HF? I can get one for $250 but the motor is shot. is it worth it?

What would be needed for a LS swap besides the HAsport mounts? wiring?

I am a newb to EF swapping. Thanks.

a 4-speed EF is the standard version. you would have to get SI/DX hubs as the hubs on the std wouldnt allow the use of b-series axles.

you would also have to wire for MPFI injection. (4 injectors instead of 2). the ls swap should not be too difficult since you would really only be adding the four injectors

Your shift linkage will have to be modified or get the ones from hasport makes things easier other than that u should be good to go.

the b18a harness would help for any plugs that might be missing...

you can still use your existing std harness and just make the wiring changes at the injectors. everything else should just plug in.

STD was the model name of the 4 speed Civic. Like CX, DX, Si, EX, LX, STD.
