Ok heres the deal, im lookin for info for this swap alltogether, but no luck with the search. Im thinkin there may be none or very little.

The engine is one of those LS yellow plug engines, does anyone know what kinda wiring is needed? I just want to know what to expect and maybe a how-to to make my life a little easier.

as long as you have an LS (obd0) dizzy and ecu, your Si plugs should work...not all sensors would match though and may need to get a few different plugs...some sensors from your old motor will need to be transferred as well.

 

I dont think I was clear enough ok what im sayin is if i use the engine harness off the LS then everything will work with little or no wiring, right?

 

Use your original SI wiring harness and most of it should plug right in to the sensors on the B18a motor.

Use your stock SI engine harness. Change plugs and sensors as needed.
