Default Some questions, new ITR still up for grabs, and cheap insurance.

So sorry if it's already been answered.

Does anyone know how many Type R's were released every year to Australia? I heard it's 500 for the US. But what about oz? My dealer reckons they brought in 600 a year, but he also reckons that i gotta rev the **** out of the type r for the first 1000 kilometres!

Also, i've noticed the chins of some type r's are different to others, besides the JDM ones, some front chins seem to be slightly bigger than the other, the bigger one also seems to show something horizontal in the gap of the chin. Whats the go there?

Ummm oh and for those of you in NSW australia who are still looking to buy the old type r. They still got a new one here, black 2000 (arrived here dec 2000), 120kilometres, air conditioning, 5 year 100,000 kilometre warranty, ON ROAD for just under 40 (40k = 20k U.S) grand. Thats right, ITR #008 is still out there looking for an owner!

They used to have a 2001, phoenix yellow one as well, but that ones coming to my garage instead (picking it up next week!)

And have any of you (from australia) checked if you're applicable for Honda Insurance with your cars? Cause insurance is $800 for me a year, (I'm 18) and it's $800 if i write it off, $400 if someone over 25 does. And up to 3 years after the purchase of the car, if it's written off they replace it with a brand spankin new one.

I'm so glad i grabbed the old model rather than wait for the new one.

If you "claim" yourself to drive under 25% of the total kilometres travelled by the vehicle you do not have to list yourself as a driver of the car. And you can still write it off.
