ok i am swapping a b18c with c5 pistons rods and a b16 head, and s2s2 cams. iwas thinking about getting my licsense plate to say type r or somethinking along those lines......but it wont have the c5 on the block

 

the word is "type-R" is synonymous with Rice.

 

why not just leave the keys in the ignition and the doors unlocked?

let me state this simply, is the car a Type-R?

 

why would you want to attract any attention, specially if you have that engine, why would you want anybody else to know that??(I mean other drivers, and theives)

 

rice, but do whaever floats your boat.....

 

it would be a little ricey...just for the reason that they sell all those damn type r stickers and pep boys and kragen and everyone (even non honda/acura owners) slaps them on their car...

if you are going to a license plate thing then make sure its something that doesn't stand out...i seriously if you put any indication of your motor on license plate message then you are attracting uneccesary attention...which increases your chance of having things stolen...

right after i did my swap before i new anythign about the import scene i ordered this kick as "hybrid" license plate from http://www.hybridgarage.com...i always get people asking me if i have a gas/electric vehicle...i feel like a dumb ***

 

It's simple if the car isn't a "Type R" then if you badge it as such that is rice! Not to mention it is basically inviting someone to come a jack your ****!

I totally agree. If it doesnt come from the factory with an "R" at the end it should not have one.

 

Yea I would watch out. People would probably hate and try to jack your car.
