Default I Want to start an EF hatch project

I am not familiar to much with JDM parts for this model. At some point I want to buy a hatch shell, strip it and build a clean JDM all motor b16b or turbo b16b. Or what would be a cheap effective way to get good power from diffrent head and block combonations?. I am also curious about air dams, lips, bumpers, anything JDM I could get to biuld the apperance for this car. Does anyone have any info from experiance, websites or pics that can start me off in the right direction? What kind power can I put out of this little beast with a budget of about 8 grand for turbo and boltons? And what other parts will I need, such as brakes, clutch, flywheel, etc? I am lookin to get about 300whp Thanks

I think I'd rather go with an all motor b16b than a turbo b16b. CTR motors are super high compression.

If you want to go turbo and are aiming for 300 whp, I reccomend LS/VTEC. The cost to build is cheap, around $1000, then throw in some safty things like ARP rod bolts, head bolts, a thick gasket, some stronger rods. You're looking at another $1500 there. Good management is basically free if you go with Turbo Edit, which is what I would do, otherwise you're looking at another couple hundred there. Then of course the turbo set up, which will most likely run your around $1500 or so.

I think you could pull of a 300 whp LS/VTEC for way cheaper than a NA b16b though.

Specially since a b16b is almost 4k to begin with.
