Distributor on 89 Hatch B16a

Distributor on 89 Hatch B16a
I've got a 89 hb with a first gen b16 and I'm pretty sure the alternator went out because it was just warming up the radio shut off then the car stopped running. But anyways i can't afford a distributor right now and i've got one from the previos d16 and was wondering if there would be any problems putting that on the b16 for now? Thanks

Ummm what is it that you need, a distributor or an alternator? A D-series alternator will not fit on your B16 unfortunately. I hope that answers your question.
